This is Iris.

She is a 16-year-old girl.

Iris is an engaging young lady who very much loves music, especially hip-hop.  Dancing and singing cheer her up when she is feeling down.  Iris is also creative and enjoys building with Legos and coloring.  Iris is a girly-girl and she is having fun learning how to apply make-up and painting her nails.  Her favorite food is hot cheetoes.  Iris would do best in a family where she is an only child and the family has the ability to focus on her needs and advocate for various services and resources for her.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
