This is Maylee.

She is an 11-year-old girl.

Meet Maylee.  One of her most endearing qualities is that Maylee really cares for the vulnerable people of the world. She makes friends at playgrounds and plays well with children. She is very social and comfortable with most adults and children.  She loves cats and dogs. Maylee has great comunication skills. She talks about her struggles, her beliefs, her feelings, and hopes for the future.  In her free time, Maylee enjoys playing in the river, gardening, dressing up and being girly.  Maylee would do well in most family types as long as they are able to offer her patience and understanding and advocate for her needs. Maylee needs to remain in New Mexico.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
