This is Adrian F.

He is a 14-year-old boy.

Meet Adrian! He is in 6th grade and doing very well in school. Adrian is very proud of himself for achieving A’s & B’s. Adrian enjoys basketball, football, and other sports. He also loves to be outdoors and enjoys outings with other kids his age.

Desirable qualities of an adoptive family for Adrian would be a family that is caring, nurturing, and patient that provides structure and consistency. They would have to be skilled or have experience to care for a child attempting to cope with his behaviors. In addition, they would have to care for him unconditionally. Adrian has voiced that he very much wants to be in a home with other kids so he can have siblings.”

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
