This is Adridianna.

She is a 7-year-old girl.

Meet Adridianna (Audi)! Audi is a warmhearted child who expresses herself through an active imagination where she is very creative at playing pretend and dress up with her dolls. Like most young ladies, she can always get into a shopping trip to the mall or catching a movie with family. When she takes a break from costume design, Audi looks forward to being a carefree spirit outside.

Audi will flourish with a two-parent forever family who is patient, caring and comfortable providing structure and creating appropriate boundaries for children who have experienced trauma and abandonment; who will also provide a great sense of security along with empathetic listening and observation skills. Ideally, Audi would be the youngest or only child, and this family will have a robust support system of family and friends who will demonstrate model behaviors to build Audi’s confidence and trust. She will need continued guidance and a lot of positive reinforcement in these critical developmental years so that she can learn to express herself in a positive and constructive manner when dealing with her emotions.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
