This is Arianna.

She is a 9-year-old girl.

Note: Arianna is part of a sibling group and must remain with her siblings, Angelino & Estrella.

Meet Arianna! Arianna is talkative and charming and she has a great sense of humor.  She is spunky and resourceful, especially in ensuring her needs are met.  Arianna is an active child and she is a member of a cheerleading squad.   She also enjoys listening to music and collecting dolls.  Arianna is an assertive young lady.  While she is able to express her frustrations and anger, she continues to need support in utilizing her coping skills to be able to self-regulate and could benefit from support from her adoptive family.

Arianna would benefit from a two parent family who can provide her and her siblings with structure and clear boundaries.  The family needs to have a lot of patience in order to teach the sibling group how to maintain healthy sibling boundaries with each other. The family also needs to be able to accept their bond as siblings as well as accept them as individuals. Arianna and her siblings would benefit from being the youngest/only children in the home as they need support and guidance so the children can continue working in therapy in regard to their trauma behaviors.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
