This is Arianna.

She is a 10-year-old girl.

Arianna is talkative and charming and she has a great sense of humor.  She is spunky and resourceful, especially in ensuring her needs are met.  Arianna is an active child and she is a member of a cheerleading squad.   She is very proud of the trophies she recently earned in her cheer activity.  Arianna also enjoys listening to music and collecting dolls.  She is an assertive young lady who is able to stand up for herself.

Arianna would benefit from a family who can provide her with structure and clear boundaries.  While she is able to express her frustrations and anger, she continues to need support in utilizing her coping skills to be able to self-regulate and will benefit from support from her adoptive family.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
