Meet Astrid! Astrid’s favorite activities in school are recess and lunch. Astrid will never pass up an opportunity to play outside with friends. Astrid is loving, caring, and has a lot of emotions. Astrid is working on identifying and expressing emotions. Astrid thrives in an environment that is active and provides opportunity for self-expression such as singing, dancing, running, and yelling. Astrid needs a family that can help her build coping skills and demonstrate healthy emotional regulation. Astrid is part of a sibling group and needs a family that has space, time, and patience to care for all four siblings.

The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
