This is August.

He is a 7-year-old boy.

Note: August is part of a sibling group and must remain with his siblings, Skylla, Jadan & Astrid.

Meet August!

August is an energetic and loving child. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing in water, and going to the park. August will thrive in a home where he can be active and channel his energy into something productive. August is the oldest of four siblings and feels the responsibility to take care of them. August struggles to express his feelings and needs and is in need of a family that can provide him with support and opportunities for self-expression. August loves his siblings and needs a family that has space, time, and patience to care for all four children.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
