This is Chloey.

She is an 11-year-old girl.

Meet Chloey!! Chloey is a bright girl who enjoys being the center of attention. Chloey wants her adoptive family to know that she is smart, helpful and kind. She enjoys coloring and playing with her foster siblings and her friends. She also likes to play with Barbies, draw, play board games, and go hiking and camping. Chloey would love to be in a family with pets, with her favorite dog being a Chihuahua. She would also like to join cheerleading or gymnastics.

Chloey would do best in a family that can offer her a lot of individual attention and is able to praise her and be proud of her for her accomplishments. Once she warms up to you, Chloey is an affectionate child. Her family needs to have patience though as she is still learning coping skills to help her work through the times she becomes upset. Chloey’s family also needs to participate in the various resources to help her address her trauma issues.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
