This is D'Angelo.

He is a 12-year-old boy.

Meet D'Angelo! D’Angelo enjoys wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, and family activities. He especially likes swimming and playing sports. He is athletic and caring. D’Angelo’s goal in life is to be a police officer. He enjoys eating pizza. He is skilled in Math.

The ideal family for D’Angelo would need to be patient, using redirection often, active, and supportive in reaching educational goals, continuing therapeutic services to help address past trauma/losses and continue to actively seek medical services. The family would need to be open to preserving biological family connections, as D’Angelo has biological family he would like to maintain contact with.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
