This is Kristal.

She is a 17-year-old girl.

Let’s play dress up! Kristal enjoys doing activities that inspire her creativity including dress up, dancing and coloring. Kristal is ready to be a part of a family that will understand and work with her special needs. Kristal enjoys spending time with others and is outgoing.

Kristal has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to assist in meeting her educational needs. She also receives additional services to assist her with daily activities.

It is recommended that Kristal’s adoptive family be a two-parent family that is caring, patient and willing to provide structure and consistency. The family must have flexibility in their day-to-day schedules to care for Kristal’s needs and provide appropriate supervision.

Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
