This is Louis.
He is a 16-year-old boy.
Louis is an active, fun child who is enthusiastic about life and continues to be positive about finding his forever family. This outgoing young man loves to read, swim, and play video games. He is a talker who is curious about how things work and likes to learn, so he will ask lots of questions. In school, Louis participates in an individualized education plan (IEP) to help him stay focused and regulate his behavior. He participates in weekly therapy to help him learn to express himself more appropriately and to assist him in developing positive, ongoing relationships.
The ideal family for Louis should be structured and be able to provide consistency and a high level of supervision. Louis will need lots of prompting and redirection to keep him on track. The adopting family should also be willing to participate in therapy services for Louis. This youngster will do best in a family with no other children or only older children, so that he can get the attention he needs.
