This is Marcello.

He is an 11-year-old boy.

Meet Marcello! Marcello is an active child who identifies with “Spiderman” and other super heroes as he engages in outdoor activities with an active imagination. He is comfortable playing indoors activities such as board games and puzzles. He is a good student with a strong potential in the academia environment although he struggles with his handwriting. He has three siblings with whom he needs to stay in contact with, but with direction from an appropriate adult.  Marcello is presently doing well in a traditional home with two parents and older children.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
