This is Maribel.

She is a 18-year-old girl.

Meet Maribel!  As a young woman embarking on the next phase of her life, Maribel looks forward to being adopted by a family who will support and guide her toward her goals of a college education where she will be able to pursue her interest in marine biology and love for animals – she might be a great veterinarian!  The world is really her oyster as Maribel truly exemplifies optimism and drive.

Maribel would love to be a part of a large family network with other children in the home, but one that provides her with the structure and stability she needs.  It is important to Maribel to stay in regular contact with her siblings, with whom she shares a special bond.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
