This is Ruby.

She is a 12-year-old girl.

Note: Ruby is part of a sibling group and must remain with her sibling, Samantha.

Meet Ruby! Ruby is the eldest of the two-girl sibling group. Ruby has a very engaging personality and once she becomes comfortable with you, she is eager to share in conversation. Ruby has a high-energy personality, and as such enjoys the practice of meditation to help her center. She has also expressed wanting to be a foster parent when she is older so she can be an advocate for young people, like herself. Ruby enjoys eating all different types of food!

As a creative soul, she spends time dancing and singing, but also enjoys physical activities outdoors. Ruby would benefit from a loving, supportive, and patient family who provides routine and structure. Ruby and her sister would appreciate a family who is agreeable for them to maintain bio-family connections to support this bond.

Before submitting this form, please make sure you are willing and able to meet these requirements.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
