This is Sadie.

She is a 15-year-old girl.

Meet Sadie! Sadie is a creative and sociable teenager. She has a dream to one day help save the coral reefs and loves to learn about the ocean. In her free time she enjoys to read, do make up, swim, dance, draw, and clean. Sadie has a strong and independent personality. She is expressive and working on taking space when angry or frustrated. In the future Sadie is interested in cosmetology, modeling, and marine biology. She is determined and longs for meaningful connections with others.

Sadie would benefit from a family that is patient, calm, and consistent. She would do best as the only child. A family that will allow her space, time, and support would benefit her in healing from her past traumas.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
