This is Sunny.

She is a 7-year-old girl.

Meet Sunshine (a.k.a. Sunny)!  Sunny is a friendly and active girl who is great at expressing her wants and desires.  She is always dancing, running, and jumping and would benefit from being in activities to help her with her energy.  Sunny states her favorite foods are rice, eggs, and pepperoni pizza with mushrooms.  Her favorite color is pink, and her favorite song is “Let it Go” from the movie Frozen.

Sunny will do well in a home with two parents who are patient and nurturing but can also provide a structured environment.  She would do best as the only child in the home.  Her family will need to advocate for Sunny to ensure her needs are being met.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
