This is Raymond.
He is a 15-year-old boy.
Raymond is a friendly guy who enjoys making new buddies to play with. Some of his favorite activities take place outside, such as football and riding his bike. He is an active kiddo with energy to spare; luckily he is also respectful of adult figures and can even be affectionate. He is charismatic and engaging but needs some occasional redirection. Indoors he gravitates towards playing video games with his pals, when he gets some free time.
Raymond is articulate, communicates his needs well and likes being independent. He will eat quite a variety of foods. When asked about his goals and dreams he responded that he hopes he will be able to find an adoptive family who will love him.
This spunky guy currently benefits from an IEP (Individualized Education Plan), counseling and speech therapy, all of which will need to continue after placement. Raymond's caseworker prefers a two-parent family; however, all family types will be considered. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services. At the present time, only families from New Mexico, West Texas and Southern Arizona will be considered.
