Meet Cheyenne! A very bubbly and bright 2nd grader who loves math and wants to be part of an active family. Cheyenne would love to be part of a home with animals, is open to any parent dynamic as long as the parents are loving and willing to go exploring with her. Cheyenne loves to ride her bike, arts & crafts, and coloring.

Cheyenne would benefit best from a two-parent household who understand that she is part of a sibling group and are very attached to each other. Cheyenne struggles with impulse control and hyperactivity but responds well to affectionate redirection and structure / clear boundaries.”

Meet Becca! Silly and fun-loving Becca is starting her schooling journey in Head Start and is very excited to be in school. Becca loves all things blue & purple and loves to watch Paw Patrol or listen to nursery rhymes. Becca has a very active imagination and loves to play outside. She loves arts & crafts and loves to spend time with her siblings.

Becca tends to struggle with getting along with others but is working very hard on her social skills. Given her age, Becca is appropriately testing boundaries but responds well to structure, positive reinforcement, and affection redirection. She would benefit best from a two-parent household who understand that she is part of a sibling group and are very attached to each other.”

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
