Meet Abel! Abel is an active young man with a love for adventure. Abel loves sports especially soccer. Abel was in Boy Scouts and enjoys learning about the outdoors. Abel is very inquisitive and likes to stay busy. Give him some kinetic sand or magnetic toys and he will be well entertained. Abel is working on emotion and physical boundaries and wants a family that will help him grow and maintain these skills. David has a sibling and will need a family that is open to keeping this connection.

Meet David! David enjoys playing outdoors and being active. He is an athlete and has played on a baseball team for the last two years. David has a strong sense of what he wants and needs. David is the type of child that is very capable of advocating for himself. David’s hobbies include playing guitar and listening to music.   His favorite type of music is country; you can find him wearing his cowboy boots and jamming out to some tones. David is working on emotion and physical boundaries and wants a family that will help him grow and maintain these skills. David has a sibling and will need a family that is open to keeping this connection.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
