{listing_title} Marivel

Note: Marivel is part of a sibling group and must remain with her sibling, Lilyana.

Meet Marivel!  Marivel is a 10-year-old adventurous young lady.  She is excited to try many new activities such as basketball and dance.  She enjoys reading and drawing and her favorite TV show is Victorious.  Marivel is very social and gets along well with other children.  She is chatty and would prefer to spend time with people rather than be alone.  Marivel would much prefer to eat her favorite food of pizza rather than fruits and vegetables.

Marivel will do well in a home with very patient, caring and nurturing parents.  She prefers to have a family who is active, but also offers structure and routine in the home.  Marivel’s parents will need to be able to provide her with individual attention, as she thrives on this.

Lilyana is able to advocate for herself and can express her wants and needs.

Lilyana will do well in a home with parents who can be both nurturing and patient as well as provide her with a structured environment.  She needs to be the youngest child in the home.  Her family will need to advocate for Lilyana to ensure her needs are met.

Note: Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) has ceased offering the non-relative Adoption Only program. CYFD does continue to offer the Foster Care program. The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
