Meet Sophie! Sophie enjoys going on walks and basically any outdoor activity. She enjoys watching her favorite TV shows and enjoys playing family games such as monopoly. Sophie likes to listen to music and is great with computers. She states that she would like to become a nurse or maybe get into the tech field. Sophie’s favorite food is green bean casserole. Sophie will need support with her education and support continuing her progress with her emotional needs. Sophie very articulate but she would do best with a family that can continue to be patient and support her needs. Sophie is open to being in any home that will love and accept her for who she is.

Meet Bella! Bella is sweet and attentive; she is showing her emotional intelligence and utilizes her coping skills when she is having a difficult time. Bella has friends at school and overall has healthy relationships. Bella is very intelligent but could benefit from extra supports in school. Bella has a calm demeanor but needs ongoing support in expressing her emotions and needs since she can be introverted with expressing those, she would benefit from a family that can sit and explore her emotional needs in an empathetic manner. Bella is excited to be adopted. She looks forward to being a part of a family. Bella enjoys outdoor activities such as playing outside or going on walks. She enjoys playing board games with her family. She likes to run and play football. Her favorite food is Chinese food.

The Foster Care Program differs in that that the goal of the program is to ultimately reunite the child with their biological parent while the child is in your care for approximately a year. Should you become a Foster Parent it is also a possibility that the children that you foster may become available for adoption.
